I’ve been drawing since I was a little girl, over 20 years experience now, and have loved it always. My family has been very supportive of it, even when I was taking crayons and drawing “murals” on their nice walls at a very young age! Hey we have to start somewhere, right?

Fantasy had been the only thing I ever created. I had been so in love with it that I had honestly answered teachers that I wanted to be a mermaid when I grow up. Obviously that didn’t work out (they don’t have college courses on it yet, lol) but at least I can draw them!

I did start trying new genres but still felt my attraction for the fantasy realm. I started creating my own version of the mystical world, modernizing it a bit and soon it came into a nice development.

The style itself can take on two different traits; it may have a “traditional” feel to it or can be a bit animated (for example comic book art). It really all depends on what I’m shooting for. I used to paint with acrylics but have switched over to digital medium and a graphics tablet. I love it!

I love to do character designing so I tend to make portraits of the characters I come up with. It started really coming in handy when I was introduced to RPing with friends. Since then most of the requests I get are from those that want me to “bring to life” a character they created for a story, game or novel. I really do enjoy the work and find it fun to expand my creativity in that way.

Music is a key element that inspires me to help create the tones I want for my work, which can be light, dark, sensual or humorous. Another inspiration for me is the Forgotten Realms novels I read as they tend to help me find the visuals.

There was a time I had stopped drawing for several years as a piece I had done was stolen by a company and claimed as their own. It was a big mess but the end results were hard for me and it was a painful lesson to learn. I lost my motivation and couldn’t draw anything for a while. It’s sad that things like this happen but I’ve recovered and have started back up recently. I’m grateful to be doing what I love again.

This site will host my recent or current work. I really hope you enjoy what you see and hopefully I’ll have more to show!

Thanks so much for stopping by,
Take Care,
Natasha
